Covid19: NC Cases update (3/23)

NC Division of Health and Human Services has updated their website to report 297 confirmed cases of CoronaVirus / Covid-19 in North Carolina.

This number reflects positive results from all tests, including the NC State Laboratory of Public Health and all hospital and commercial labs.

The division indicates 8,438 tests have been completed by the NC State Laboratory for Public Health and reporting hospital and commercial laboratories.

45 out of 100 North Carolina Counties with confirmed cases include:

Outer Coastal Plain

  • Brunswick County: (5 cases)
  • Carteret County: (4 cases)
  • New Hanover County: (4 cases)
  • Craven County: (2 cases)
  • Onslow County: (1 case)
  • Pasquotank County: (1 case)

Inner Coastal Plain

  • Harnett County: (9 cases)
  • Johnston County: (3 cases)
  • Pitt County: (3 cases)
  • Wilson County: (3 cases)
  • Cumberland County: (2 cases)
  • Hoke County: (1 case)
  • Nash County: (1 case)
  • Robeson County: (1 case)
  • Sampson County: (1 case)
  • Wayne County: (1 case)

Mountains

  • Cherokee County: (4 cases)
