Grandy, NC – Franklin Frey Fowler, 96, of Grandy, NC passed away February 19, 2020 in Barco, NC. “Ike” as many fondly knew him, worked for many years in the Norfolk Shipyard in nuclear inspections. Survivors include several children and their families as well as his wife of over 70 years, Mary. In accordance with his wishes, Ike will be cremated and the family will hold a private gathering to honor his life in the near future.
