Trio catches drug charges after being pulled for traffic violation

On April 25, 2025, a traffic stop conducted by a Currituck County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Corporal on a Nissan Altima on Highway 158 near the Rest Area in Aydlett, North Carolina, led to the arrest of three individuals on various drug charges.

The stop, initiated due to a traffic violation, resulted in a search of the vehicle. Deputies seized approximately 237 grams of cocaine, along with other controlled narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

The individuals arrested were identified as:

  • Sentel Clarke, 45, the driver.
  • Sabrina White, 39, a passenger.
  • William Pinkstone, 30, a passenger.

All three were charged with:

  • Trafficking in Cocaine
  • Possession of Cocaine
  • Possession of Marijuana with intent to sell or deliver
  • Maintaining a vehicle for the Sale and Delivery of a Controlled Substance
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Following their arrest, all three were transferred to the Currituck County Detention Center, each held on a $100,000 secured bond. Authorities indicated that additional charges might be pursued as the investigation continues.
