Grandy, NC – Laura Lea King Hall, 68, of Grandy, NC died Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. She was born November 3, 1952, in Portsmouth VA. She was the daughter of the late Joseph King and Joann Lowers King and was the wife of the Rev. Earl Thomas “Tom” Hall. She was a homemaker and a member of Poplar Branch Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Amy Ferebee of Pensacola, FL; a son, Christopher Earl Hall of Rocky Mt, NC; three sisters, Lorraine Jones of Portsmouth, VA, Loretta Wesson of Sanford, FL, and Linda Hill of Odessa, TX; a brother, Jimmy King of Chesterfield, VA; and five grandchildren, Sierra Hall, Grace Ferebee, Elizabeth Ferebee, Thomas Ferebee, and Faith Hall.
A memorial service will be held Friday, August 27, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Poplar Branch Baptist Church with her husband, the Rev. Tom Hall and the Rev. David Wallace officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.
