NC Governor Roy Cooper announced today (March 23, 2020) in a 1:00 pm news conference that NC Public Schools (K-12) will remain closed for in-person instruction until May 15, 2020.
Governor Cooper also stated that gyms, hair salons, barber shops and nail salons must close by 5 pm on Wednesday or sooner if possible.
Restaurants and bars will remain closed to dine-in customers, but carry out is allowed.
